Wheel Nut Torque

My owner's manual says my wheel nut torque should be 100lbs, however most torque guides say 70-80lbs for the 12X 1.5mm stud diameter. I am currently running 15X8 eagle alloy 146 rims. Which one should I follow?

I just retorqued them all to 80lbs, that helped to ease some vibration I was feeling due to repeated over torqueing with an air wrench by various service facilities. Thanks

You never use an air wrench and set your wheels to 100lbs like the book states for your wheels.
