raced a Kompressor Coupe!

haha another amazing death to a cool car.....I took a ride to wendies and on my way thur i saw a Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor Coupe...I believe those things have around 160-180HP so i decided to toy around with it....I followed closely(Tailgating is fo assholes) and when the lanes split into two i switched over to the right of him and crept by him as the oncoming light turned yellow then red..I ws surprised to see a young guy druving it and as he came to a stop he took a few glances at my car and kinda gave a slim smirk......He kept creeping past the stop line as if he was eager to get a good start....I revved a few times to let him know i wanted to mess....He didnt rev back but when the light turned green we both floored and and the Kompressor took off leaving me behind about 3-4 car lengths he switched to the suicide lane down the road and as i flew by him i gave him a thumbs up and continued to wendies

Burntrice, sometimes I think the only time you'll ever use your hazards (the international sign of winning a street race :p ) is either when you:

A) Are stranded on the side of the road because the FORD broke down

or

B) You're part of a funeral

yes unfortunatly for me..Iam stuck with the 3.8L V6 with 150HP stock and about 215 foot lbs of torque....It's just sometime to drive til i save up enough to get a GT

OMG them cars are dawgs!!! The VW salesman at work has a red C230 Kompressor and i just totally rape his car. I drive em when i get one for a customer detail too and i didn't think they felt all that fast? I'll have to check out carstats now.

yeah they not that fast..but they got loads of torque and thier pretty light...I think they got a supercharged 2.3L I-4 with 161HP

I believe this was for the 99 think it was something like

Damn, this thread just got out there. Didn't know the Slicks were such dogs...I alway held them in high regard, but then again, the AMG version is only a nose faster than the M Coupe, which is, acording to Top Gear, quite a bit more fun to drive...That always seems to be the trend all of the sudden. The Benz is faster, but the mags and shows all rather drive the Bimmer.
