Flasher replacement

Hi....I cannot locate the "flasher" on my contour...I have no turn signals or hazard light. I need to replace but cannot locate flasher.
I appreciate any info!!

are we talking about the amber bulb in the front headlight?

The bulbs and fuses are all fine its the flasher itself, is there anyway to fix that?

Im lost. Im thinking the "flasher" is the turn signal, but it must be something else. Can you explain it better?

I think she means the relay. I'm not possitive, but I believe it's in the steering column.

But.....WHERE? Can't locate it!!!!

The hazard lamp fuse is number 12 (page 236 of manual). The fuse box is located underneath the hood by the drivers side headlight.
