Finally got it

1995 accord ex. 1st problem - had no rear windscreen so took on some water for weeks. Trunk is soaked. upon inspection the rear speaker took on alot of water, there is no sound coming from them. The worst is, the program lights on the stock deck stays on when the car is shut off. not enough to drain the battery but i want to be on the safe side. Both front speakers work well.
2nd problem- dont know if its a problem but about 2mins after switch it seems like a fan comes on for another 3 mins then goes of.
Also how do i know if i have the 2.2 or 2.0 l engine( its an ex). Car drives great though. :smokin:

Does the car still get water in the trunk, many accords have problems with the seals around the rear lights leaking after a few years and this causes the trunk to fill with water.

If it is still filled with water, I suggest you suck it up with a shop vac and let it airdry open for quite awhile, or take it to a detail shop and see what they can do...so you don't get mold.

As far as teh speakers...I'd assume they will need to be replaced after being soaked. As far as the lights staying on the stereo...not sure if that is normal, perhaps a wiring problem.

The fan thing is normal though.
