Does anyone know if a MKIII can be driven with a damaged head gasket? At least to avoid towing charges. Thanks.

NO, pay the $100 tow charge and keep the option to rebuild your blown engine.

ok i gotta chime in here ! if anybody read my post engine in or engine out? ive got an 87 sup 7mgTe dont know if its a head gasket or maybe turbo ? anyway when i last drove it about 6 yrs ago i drove to and from work all the time with white or maybe blue ( i remind you it was about six years ago ) smoke spewing out from tailpipe for almost 1 month before i parked it and removed the turbo but not thinking it was a head gasket ?? now i want to try and fire it up again with new turbo installed - but not new headgasket?? any ideas guys it would only smok at idle and off throttle - no load help please?????
