all that stuff should have held up longer than 6 months. may just need a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and replace your fuel filter

im hoping its nothing more than that.. because if it goes beyond there its getting too expensive for what i can afford at the time.. my budget's tighter than a.. well.. its just tight.. lol

(Evil violin sound) Could be the infamous "Optispark". Hope not though considering your budget.

Im not sure about that one, I know my Z28 did that a while back after changing plugs and wires, turned out to be my OptiSpark.

its only under acceleration? could be fuel filter, fuel pump, injector problem. I would have it hooked up to a tech 2 and see if you can monitor the sensor inputs under acceleration and see visually what the problem is. Sounds like the mixture is definatly going off somehow either rich or lean.

are your wires on the 02 sensors touching headers or a y-pipe? mine use and they would melt and back to buying more 02 sensors

well.. i know as much to say its not the cat..because i dont have one.. i checked the o2 sensors and they're not touching anything.. i already looked at those.. one of my plug wires was kindof resting on the intake.. and got melted just a tad.. i remember that happening before.. changed the wire.. no more problem.. so far..

same thing happened to my 94 Z a lil shake/hesitation when accelerating hard, i replaced the plug wires an fixed it but it showed up again later-some fuel injector cleaner got rid of it for good
