Hi Guys,
94 Cherokee Sport, 4.0 L, AT, 120000 miles
Symtoms: vibration at high speed, and knocking sound at stop and start. Also a little play in rear tire.
I haven't checked the drive shaft for play yet.
Do I need to change the U joints and how much play should be in the wheels when its off the ground.
You guys have never failed me. And to all those who helped me replace my whole front end THANK YOU

When you rebuilt the front end did you replace the Axle U Joints? They are known to go bad. You can usally find a bad U Joint by grabing the drive shaft and moving it up and down and side to side. You should be able to see play in the Joint if it is bad. You also could have a Bad Hub Assembly.
