I just got this car about 2 months ago and already having some problems. When I go out to start the car in the morning after it has been sitting for awhile, it seems to not want to start, it will turn over but will not start up. And when I do try to start it, it seems to make a bunch of clicking noises from the relays. If I turn the key and let it sit till it stops making noises and turn the key back a few times it will then start. Also when I was driving it down the interstate the other day it cut off twice while driving it and when I pulled it off the road I had to do the same thing that I have been doing when I go out to start it. What do you think could be causing this? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

sounds very much like an electrical problem. only thing i can suggest is take it to the dealership and be patient. they can take five minutes to find, or five weekds.

May be overly simple, but check you battery terminal connections. I agree with 89 also, although I wouldn't take it to the dealer, instead, take it to a good shop in your area that specializes in LS1 vehicles. Not sure where LAndis NC is but you could go to www.ls1tech.com, and hit up the regional sections. I'm positive someone could reccomend a good shop near you. Good luck, and let us know what you find out!

89, basically what cuda said. Other than that, I have found that taking my 99 to dealerships usually seems to be a hit or miss type of deal. Sometimes the problem gets fixed to my satisfaction, and sometimes not. I have never had this happen when dealing with a reccomended trustworthy specialist shop. Just my experience.
