I just had a 4-way alignment on my F250 4x4, and new tires all around. It almost seems as though it wants to climb the camber of the road toward the center, but on the other hand, it kind of seems to want to wander a little. At first, I thought it may not have been aligned right, but this morning, I seem to detect a little play in the steering when going straight, i.e. I can move the wheel a small amount left or right of center without feeling any resistance.
Can power steering be adjusted like the old manual boxes?

Yes, but the box it's self is probably tight. Check all of the ball joints and tie rod ends. Those parts are a lot cheaper than what you may think. I replaced all my front end stuff on my 78 ford 4x4 for about 300, all moog stuff. Also do not think it is always the most expensive part like i did, even though it was all bad. I repalced all my front steering arms, rag joint, steering box, radius arm bushings, and it turned out to be the drop arm, ohh well, atleast i know what i have. lol.
