Eclipse GSX vs Supra twin turbo

I got a question what would win from a stock twin turbo supra and a gsx with 300hp.

Even now, it's a pretty decent run off the line. Sometimes, I think I just race better than he does.

a twin turbo supra vs. a 300 hp gsx? itd probably be a good race, but i believe that if both drivers skill levels are about the same the gsx would win

if the GSX has 300whp it would win easily. GSx with 300crank HP would make the race to close to call from a bench perspective.

if the cars had even Hp levels the GSX would win ...cant beat AWD power...

from a bench perspective. That might not be true the gsx is going to loose alot of its power through the drive train, So the supra would have a really good chance of winning. Crank power vs whats going to the ground say it would be 270 something but again from a bench perspective

dunno dood TT supra has a shitload of power... inline 6 320 HP and 315 Torque(FT-LBs.) now a 300 HP a GSX will have a shitload of pull but with a higher curb weight and less HP the rear wheel drive supra will come out ontop... a stock TTsupra runs a 13.1 at 109 and i mean i dont know what a GSX does at that HP but from stock its a 2 second difference also the gear ratios are different the supra is setup to pull in 2nd almost as hard as in first from a 3.83 :1 to a 2.36:1 while a eclipse has a low 3.08:1 and drops down to a 1.68:1 IMHO it would be a desent race but the GSX wouldent have to much of a chance....

yeah i think it would be a very close race considering it's comparing a stock car to a modified vehicle
almost always the modified car has a slight advantage

what kinda of supra are you talking about with 320 not in the us they dont come with that stock more like 280

what if both were automatic, going uphill a 45 degree angle hill with the wind blowing against them! and both had 450 at wheels plus a T78 Turbo with NOS, a MOTEC engine management system with more NOS!....this race is pointless until someone does it in REAL LIFE with a real Stock GSX and Stock Supra Turbo.

I know my Supra stock can walk all over my sons 95 GST stock.

300 whp is a 14b maxed out (25 psi and 117 octane). I remember giving a mildly modded TT Supra a real run for his money back then at a local Import event. Ran a 12.84 to his 12.88 I believe. It was a beautiful car too. He came up after and asked if he could shake my hand, for giving him the best race he ever had, lmao. It was a close one, the crowd really enjoyed too I heard after. Cool guy anyway. But back on topic! Yes, with decent driving on both sides a 300 WHP gsx should beat a stock Supra. But whats the point of the question? Just go race and see what happens. Then you can look back fondly on the old days and tell cool stories when youre older, like me :D

There are plenty of ways around that, a side from a fiberglass driveshaft, light weight flywheel and etc.

It's very simple... A 300HP GSX will beat a stock Supra every time (being that you don't miss a shift lol) Rev up to 5,000 RPM then just let that clutch go and you're gone.. Basically having almost a 2 car length head start while the Supra is catching traction. The Supra would need to have a fairly decent track length depending on where it takes place to catch up and win.

"MKIII87turbo" We're talking about a GSX, not a GS-T lol.. Big difference in starting a race. If your son had a 1G your race would be closer... Being the 1GEN 4G63T's are superior.
