98 Taurus Door Locks going nuts

The door locks on my 98 Taurus has started to lock and unlock themselves while driving. At one point I had disconnected the battery while working on another issue and the problem stopped for a day or two. Now its back and driving my wife nuts any ideas on what might be the problem.

Could be an intermittent ground. Have you had any other electirical problems?

My 97 Taurus did this while driving a couple of years back. I would also downshift and I would lose power steering, and all the dashboard lights would go crazy! It turns out it was the transmission temperature sensor. Never had anymore problems.
