Timing Chain Fits! But?

94 Suburban 5.7 Chain I Installed Fits Better Than Oem (tighter) Now It Is A Double Chain Looking Type,double Gears PERFORMANCE But I Dont Think Its Wider Than The Original. Has Anyone Used These Types Of Chain And Will I Have To Put On An Aftermarket Cover? Or Will The Oem Fit Without Rubbing? It Loks Like It But Not Sure

You should be fine. The reason it looked like a double chain is because it pretty much is. They are designed this way to resist stretching under higher rpm.

so you've definitely used one on this type of engine with no problem? ive got to be sure cuz problems follow me!

Most all of the aftermarket chains I have installed have been this type.
Just match the chain with the old one and make sure it is not wider and make sure there is no difference in the offset on the gears (although I have never seen any difference. I have never seen a chain that won't fit with the stock cover. I can't visually see the chain you have so I won't say one way or another, But if you check the two things I said above and they say it is the chain for it you won't have any problems. The only difference is there should be double rows of teeth on the gears for the chain.
