some will like it some wont, but they are all into the whole future car look, cars just get more retarted looking more and more these days... but then again if this new 240... IF they come out with it, if it has the power to back it up then it should be nice... it better be a RWD too cause ill start killing.. and i would love one in black :p

i personaly dont like it but im sure in the 80's, people hated what the new 300zx and 240sx were going to look like, it would look better if it was going sideways with a trail of blue smoke, but oh well.

why is it so, umm short i mean the s13 to s15 looked long, low, and sleak. that looks like it sqished. maybe its just me.

i think it's photo-chopped. I think they squished a 350z and put it in that mag. a new 240sx would have to look exotic like the s15, and have an inline 4 turbo

Nissan needs to throw that ugly piece of crap to the can and start working on a new 300ZX (Z34?) and a new Skyline.

But remember how fackin ugly the 350Z concept was? it still doesn't look all that great now but it's a helluva lot better than that concept (if you don't remember what the concept looked like search google for 2002 Z Concept Car or go play GT3)

wow jt24e where have you been for the past year??? Nissan IS working on a new skyline!!!!!!! THe base models are out already, identical to our G35. The R model is said to be released in 07/08(cant remember).......and yes the new 240 if it even comes out will be rear wheel drive, since DRIFTING is the reason they thought of bringing it back.

I was talking about a real Skylline. I've seen the concept for the new GT-R, it's just as ugly as that 240SX. They sook a G35, gave it a giant Intercooler and a big black ugly grill.

I guess change is good though... I have a pic on my PC somewhere of a good looking Skyline concept, see if I can dig it up.

They still make Skylines, but they will never make USDM Skylines.

A real Skyline will have a straight 6, nothing else, if they put a V6 or V8 or anything else, it will ruin it.

Remember that we all have opinions and are entitled to them, I respect yours but I am dead serious.

Nissan's definition of a real Skyline may be very different from mine, but I think they should continue improving the chasis as they did from R32 to R33 to R34 and they should continue with the straight 6.

A "real" Skyline should be RB powered.

uhhhhhh the v6 is proven to be a better fucking engine disapates heat faster and i think is a bit lighter??? not sure...they run it in the jgtc cars....the skyline is a vehicle of prowess why would they hinder the performance when they have something better??? like i said before get serious. And logik how is it ruined if it proves to be better????

If V6s are so great, why does BMW have a straight 6? Why did the Skylines and Supras have straight 6s? The reason V6's exist is because they are smaller and cheaper.

It'd be nice if the '240SX' were introduced here as a sort of Baby Z. Base it on a shorter FM platform(with rear seats and a trunk like the G35 Coupe), and offer nice trim levels like on the Z. The track model could get Brembos and 17-inch Rays wheels, for example. Offering one good normally aspirated engine, at least in the beginning, would probably work.

It would be something of a shock in the Japanese sport compact market, since there really aren't many cheap rwd entries out there. Right now, there's the Miata and RX-8, followed by the IS300, none of which are very cheap, unless you look at the lower power RX-8. Picture the '240SX' starting out a bit more expensive than a Scion tC, maybe at 17 or 18 grand. If the car was successful, it would probably send a few companies back to the drawing board.
