My 98 Ram Pickup would'nt start this morning, early in the afternoon it started, ran rough for a few minuates, then seemed ok. After driving it about 12 miles this evening it refuses to idle. The odd part is there are no codes. Anyone have any ideas on this one??

could be a stuck or dirty IAC (Idle Air Control) plunger.

When you say IAC, are you referring to the 2 throttle body flaps? If so I had the same problem this weekend. I cleaned them and it cured the problem.

nope, the IAC and the throttle blades are tow diffirent things, but both are located on the throttle body.
the IAC is a little motor and plunger that is mounted on the back side of the throttle body. when the engine is ideling, the throttle blades are compleatly closed, and not letting any air into the engine. when the throttle blades are closed, the IAC controls the amount of air getting to the engine. I'll look around and see if I can find a picture or diagram to explain it a little better.
