I know there's a lot of good eyes in this forum. I need your opinion about how to paint my 71 Chevelle.....Which one do you think looks better??? I did a drawing of my car and colored some different options to see which one to take to the body shop where they're getting it ready for paint. I want this Chevelle to be different than the usual super sport stripes and one color (right know is blue with white super sport stripes).
Options:
1. New Muscle car look (blue and gray)
2. Classic muscle car look with a twist (red and black).
3. Modern Muscle car look (for this one I was thinking about making the black stripe and side graphics with a Carbon Fiber finish) (light yellow and silver).
I'll definetly keep in mind your opinions.
These are some quick sketches I did.
The one that gets more votes I'll draw it in more details....3/4 view, trunk, hood details and any side graphics is applicable....I'll post the drawing.
ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME!!!!!

I like the first one except I think the blue should be silver too, just me though.
The white/blk schema is very cool too.
Bye the way those are nice sketches.

Honest opinion.......nice sketches, but I prefer no stripes at all. That body style is really nice- to me it's not just the shape and size of the older cars that make them look so much cooler than new ones- it's the fact that they were made in a time when they were sculpted by hand! It was part of the design process to hand sculpt 1:1 clay models based upon design drawings- but before before production. (they actually still do sometimes, but it has alot less influence now because of CAD). Anyway, I am always a little dissapointed to see all of the styling subtleties covered up by an extravagant paint sheme.

Thank you guys for your opinions.
The following are some of the choices you thought would look nice.
These sketches look a little better (color) since I rendered them on Windows Microsoft Word (Not exactly a rendering program but I don't have any other like.....photoshop).

Hey Rollin, I know what you mean. But other than the two tone paint, these are not that radical in comparison to the original muscle cars. The 71 Heavy Chevy came with the side stripe (this is just an upgrade stripe of that edition). The 70 Super Sport came with the twin stripes in the hood (again this is just an upgrade look going with just one stripe instead of two...a different look). Combine them......put two tones.....and....whala you have an upgraded look.....not for everyone I understand but after having five different muscle cars since high school myself and trying to keep them original, I think is time for me to go a little wild!!!!!
Thanks for you opinion.

Welp, now that I see my idea the silver looks too plain. I like KustmAce, perhaps w/ black? Maybe that is black looks dark gray. What abour rims, one of the most important aspects. I think 17in billet rims or 18in.

Billet rims kick butt but I was thinking on putting:
Did you see the wheels that Joe Rogan put on his Hemi-Powered Sick Fish 'Cuda (Tv series RIDES). Those rims would be perfect for my Chevelle.
Those sims with:
Skinny-sidewall BFGoodrich
P235/35ZR19 in the front and
P285/35ZR22 in the back
SWEET!!!
There's no way I can show them on these renderings and make it look half descent by using just the Microsoft Word program.

Make my line bright white. It might look better, help tone off and seperate the colours.

Oh IC. I like big rims even 19in but I am not a big fan of 20+ in. rims to where a car looks like a hotwheels 1:64 car. That is just me though. Like my bro tells me, "Who is driving this car, who paid for it!"
You have pict. I tried to find one but couldn't.
