Throwing itself out of 5th

Got a '97 Eclipse with the 420A and a 5 speed. When in 5th everything runs fine for a little while but then the car throws itself out of gear.
Easy to put back in just a pain in the butt. Any help, possible reasons?

worn shifter bushing is a possibility.

mine does the same thing(before i blew a rod)

it runs fine in 1st and 2nd pops outa 3rd and 5th and just started the day i blew the rod it would pop out of 4th also

i was told the gear oil could be low in it and i also heard the linkage could be off
