New heads and computer

Hi my name is Colt and I just grabed a hold of some new PI heads for my 99 crown vic. I know that when I bolt these things down I am going to have some instant power but is this the only thing I need for this engine to run correct? Is there any changes that the computer needs to know about so it can get the most out of these heads, or does that matter? :confused: I dont want to have these heads that can give me "X" amount of power and only recieve half of that because my computer thinks everything is still stock! I know that with something minor like a new air intake you shouldnt have to reprogram your system but is new heads major enough to have this done???? Can some one please help me????
