hood

i have a 93 s10 blazer, and cant get the hood to open, the cable is connected to the releace on the inside, and sounds like its broken under the hood , how do i get my hood up??? since it wont release from inside the vehicle

iv the same year....and had the same prob.
you need 2 people.
one to pull the release.......and one to open the hood.
before you do this make shure you have some greese!!!
wd40 the whole unit......
it looks like a spring on the hood it self....
and near the radiator is a hook on a lever....
they get rusty and stick...thas the reason it sticks.
put greese on the round plate under the spring..
place a good amount on the lever and all its moving parts.....

that will do the trick....
just do the same process about every 5 months and it wont stick again.
