92 Prelude Si need sum advice

I have a 92 prelude si but its automatic and im thinking of switching it to manual. n e one know where and how much it will cost to change transmission to manual. Im in Queens, NY.

the best price i've seen for a h23 5sp alone was sometihn like 400 or 800. then you gotta get a clutch, flywheel, and several other things. but you can count on it costing a couple thousand atleast, including labor.

I saw an h23 5sp for 200 bux once on some forum somewhere - who knows about the condition though.

also he's gonna need a new ecu - for the manual, so count on a 100 bux or so for a p14 (unless they are selling for more than that these days)... i've heard it's not the funnest of swaps, and lengthy - so unless you plan on doing this yourself financially I don't really recommend it (but I've never done it so take that with a grain of salt)....

i'm not sure if that was directed at me or whom, but in any case i should have been more clear - the 200 bux was for an h23 5sp transmission - not the whole engine with tranny.

the only good thing is my pops is a mechanic and so r his friend so labor i can have taken care of just the price for the parts that would really kick my ass. i also read on one of these forums that a guy had his automatic transmission changed to hit red line. said it worked pretty good. n e one know n e thing about this?
