Well do you want a show car or a go car...do you want it fast for a street car or do you want to make it a drag strip car, or autocross car...
how much are you willing to spend?
do you want to make it all motor or go forced induction?
We need more info on your goals and such.

:iagree:
We need to know what the the car is going to be used for and we need to know what kind of budget you have to work with.

what i've had people tell me is to get some coilovers, maybe ls/vtec it or type r swap, turbo it, i know i want to redo the interior with a touch screen in dash dvd player and headrest monitors and get a system. as far as engine i'm lost. i just don't know what to get to make it fast and last

Ok how about this: What type of car would you like to be able to beat in a race? Or what kind of 1/4 mile times are you wanting to hit?
Those two questions are important in determining what you do to the motor.

Are you planning to put in a turbo? Then you wouldnt want the headers

Well with 250K miles that would not be a good idea unless he is going to completely rebuild the motor. But on the other hand it is probably getting close to that time anyway if he wants to add performance parts.

well i want to beat just about any car. i do want to rebuild the motor because of the many miles on it. i do want to turbo it but after rebuilding with performance parts and maybe putting a type r head. i also want a ten second car too. i just want to fly

I think you might be dreaming... 10sec 1/4 time is going to require a ton of boost. you're gonna have to make your engine bulletproof and it wont be cheap. but if you have the money, more power to you.

I don't know about the 10 second car thing. That will be hard to attain and very expensive.

I think you need to be realistic here it is damn near impossible to run 10sec in a Honda with a full interior and the system you were talking about earlier unless you are running like 30psi of boost. It sounds like you want a show car and a racecar and a streetcar all in one. You are going to have to compromise somewhere. It is pretty impossible and outrageously expensive to have a 10 sec show car that you drive everyday on the street. If that's what you are looking for though and money is no object like you say, my suggestion is to sell your car and buy a Supra!

get you a good set of coil overs first off, Tanabe makes some good ones, and 2'' is a good looking drop for integras. lowering it on stock shocks is not going to be smooth, so you might think about get some new shocks too... get an engine dress up kit (for show) and some nice rims. get a nice system. i love JL audio, i have a pioneer 1000 watt amp pushin 2 10'' JL w1's and they sound lovely in the hatch back. i'm not a huge fan of body kits but if i had to choose i think wing west makes a nice looking kit... as for speed, like i said before go turbo, get a nice exhaust (i like GReddys evo II) and you'll be ready to win a few shows. 2 cents

You need to do some reading. By the sound of it, it looks like you don't know much about your car. If you want your car to fly, you will need to learn about your car and how to do it. It will save you $$ and you will have the knowledge behind it. Don't put MODS on if you aren't ready for it, or don't even know what it does.

I can't agree more, you really need to know what mods do what to the car. If you ever have a problem you will always have to rely on someone else to fix it. You need to learn the basic concept of what each mod does to your car and what effects it will have on other parts of the car. Do some researching and reading and you will learn a lot. If you find something interesting that you have questions on then please start a thread and ask we will try our best to help. We have some members in here that know a lot and can help you a lot if you approach them right.

ok well i migght be dreaming but i really want my car to look good and also win some street races without getting blown away. i'm starting tho think that i should get a 3rd gen teg and fix that one up and just keep the 92 as an everyday car but with some mods.
