I dont think this is that technical of a question but i need help. Im about to a cheap on put a custom exhaust on my 1990 CRX Si. I've been looking at different name brand exhaust specs and the Greddy Exhaust i want has the pipe 2.36" in diameter. I know people that have gotten custom exhausts and their pip is 2 1/4". So my question is should i get a 2 1/2" pipe or 2 1/4? Which would have more performance and better quality sound. And for the record i dont favor custom exhaust at all. I just need to get mine off ASAP.

2-2.25" = NA
2.5+ = Turbo

2.5 inches is your best bet, for N/A or Turbo

my bad on this one. i forgot to say i was done. I already got an exhaust. I came across a good deal on the GReddy exhaust that i want. But thats for the input. I was gona go with a 2.5" if i did go with custom. Im tryin to get my friend to get the 2.5". he just has a muffler and i found a place that will do the pipe for $125. good lookin out tho.
