What happens when you turn the key?

Sorry, I still am unclear on what happens. The engine is turned by the starter, but it doesn't start running? Is that what happens?

Can you check to see if you have spark and fuel? You need both.

I have roughly the same problem. I have a 93 Camry 4cyl. I JUST replaced my distributor today with a NEW (not REMAN) part. I had replaced the distributor before, about 6 months ago, but it was a REMAN. It crapped out last week, so I got the REAL-DEAL Toyota part. I put it in and let the motor idle for about 10 minutes. About 2 hours later, I went to the store about 10 miles away. As soon as I put the car in "Park" it died!!! It will still turn over and run, but if I don't hold the gas pedal it will die. I drove it home using the gas and brake simultaneously to keep it from dying at idle speed!!! NOW WHAT DO I DO???!!! :disappoin
