Great forum. I found the rear trunk wires frayed (as described in this forum) and reconnected those trunk wires, but still no rear lights come on when I turn the headlights on. No lights are burnt out, they all work in some other mode, ie back up, turn, emergency. I popped open the yellow sensor box on the left trunk wall and the circuit board looks A-OK. Any suggestions, what could cause the rear running lights not to come on with the headlights? Thank you - Pop

It's possible that you could have reconnected the wires wrong, and it's possible that there could be other places where the wires are shorting out on the body.

Well, it seems I checked the fuses before I fixed the wiring harness but not afterwards. The dealer replaced 1 fuse and charged me $17. Thank you for your help ! This is a great web site.
