96 Corolla Wandering

I have a 96 Toyota Corolla. When traveling at highway speeds it sometimes pulls to the left and sometime to the right. The steering has a little play in it. I just had tires replaced and had it aligned. Even after getting it aligned and tires replaced it still wanders to both the right and left. I took it back to the shop and they replaced the tires twice and realigned it three times this past week. Also, there seems to be a little bit of a clunking sound coming from the front end when going over rough roads. There also seems to be some oil build up around the inner passenger side cv boot. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem with the clunking sound, and the mechanic says it could be the wheel bearing

Check your tie rods.. Inner and outer tie rods might need to be replaced.

could be struts....if they get weak the car will drift.
Also jack the car and confirm the front brakes are releasing properly. But i would definitly get under there and make sure all the suspention components are tight
