rear end winder desired

anyone out there ever put a winder on their tailgate im just tired of these motor covers, the cog keeps falling out and its made of plastic so it gets chewed up. a winder would solve my problem unless someone has a suggestion

Far easier to get a used motor (salvage/used auto parts yard) or a new motor...even if you are a real cheapskate it is still cheaper in the long run as the first thing that will happen is you or someone will put down tailgate with glass up and break it at the very least.
