i have a 1993 s-10 pu 2whd with a 2.5L engine. Reacently i developed a cold starting problem. i have changed the map sensor, intake temp sensor, plugs wires to try to correct this problem. No codes came up when i scaned it and it runs fine once it has started. good spark and fuel. timing is good. i really don't know what to check next, so if anyone has any answers let me know.

Does the engine try to turn over, or do you get nothing at all when you turn the key?

Check your fuel pressure.

engine turns over fine, plugs and wires are new as of yesterday, and it has lots of fuel pressure, only seems to not start on rainy days.

If it's fine, what is the pressure that you read?

Also, if you get it started, spray some windex or even just a fine mist of water on the coil and see if it arcs.

the problem seems to be fixed, I found a burnt wire with cover melted, when engine was turned over wire ground out to the block causing the intake temp sensor to read incorrectly. thanks for the help i may need more in the future
