Since the contest was a fluk, I plan to do one Project Next year, Curve's Z33. ( http://www.curve-ad.com/z33/index.html ) I've had a some other cars in mind, but the 350z is just so unique. Its going to be a challenge; 3 types of putty, 8 kinds of files, & a Dremel should get the job done.(year right :uhoh: )I've done bodywork before, no problems in that area.

Here are some photos in progress (1:1)

Aint she a bute? And in its only progress..
Finished product here: http://www.curve-ad.com/z33/photo_as.html

1st thing I will have to do is purchase a Masito 350Z or an Hotwheels 350z.
So I guess this is sort of an intro to my year long build.
Expect some progress around January.
Thanks for looking! Wish me luck.

Josh. That is going to be damn sweet! Awesome selection for a build, and I know you are one of the few that can pull it off correctly. I do think that car made the bondo stocks skyrocket though.

I do suggest making the base out of styrene and trying to use as little putty as possible. If you go into car modeling, Kunta is building a pantera. All of his boddy work was done in styrene, and he posts great progress if you need ideas.

Good luck, and finish it. Otherwise you will get some Tamiya Ritalin.

:lol2: Yea i think that car did make bondo's stock go up..
Thanks for the tip, I planed on using a styrene skeleton from the start. (putty is getting expensive, 10.50 a pop). I seen some of Kunta's work, pretty damn impressive , I will most def look at some of his past builds to gain some more technique/tips.

Thanks for the comments, 1st set of progress will be pictures of the materials I will be using.

I was using more and more of it, then started going for pure styrene...saved the wallet, thats for sure.

This thread is 2 months old and you've been here over 6 months, haven't you learned to not dig up the corpses of old threads?
