How to reply to numerous replies at once?

i noticed some people reply to a bunch of replies with one reply, how do you do this? like if you are gone for a while and bunch of people ask you questions , its a pain to reply to all of them by clicking reply for each person, how do i select people i want to reply to by quoting then, then replying under their quotes? thanks

The easier way:
Click "Reply w/Quote" for first post.
Select all text in pre-formatted quote.
Cut.
Hit "back" on your browser.
Click "Reply w/Quote" for next post.
Paste in text of first quote above of below second.
etc...
Add your comments/replies in between quotes.
