1984 4cyl- new 02, now won't run

Craziest thing. I had to replace my exhaust manifold because the o2 sensor was busted off, and after removing manifold, realize it was busted too. I bought new bolts for the manifold along with gaskets and replaced the manifold, and put in a new 02 sensor. Hooked everything else up and fired it up. It ran for about 15 seconds, roughly, then died. I tried starting it again and it won't start. Even with the old manifold on, with a large gaping hole where the old 02 sensor was, it would still run enough to move it around. I am bummed! I thought I'd hit the road again today! Any thoughts??
Thanks!

Make sure the battery ground is tightly connected to the cylinder head. It's in an annoying place when it comes to working on the front of the engine and I'd imagine you may have removed it to get at the exhaust manifold bolts easier. Other then that, look for anything that may have came unplugged and check for spark and fuel.

Thanks- I'll look into it. I walked away from it laughing and haven't looked at it since. I am going to make sure I have the plug wires on correctly too. If that doesn't fix it, I'll go back to working on my TA. LOL
