oil not pumping

Chevy Malibu V6 engine. My son noticed that the antifreeze was almost gone and the car would not run without over heating. He bought antifreeze and filled it up. at that time I checked the oil and it was so thick it was like mollasses. He changed the oil and filter twice. I checked the oil sensor and changed the oil for the third time. I put a quart of transmisson fuild in and ran the car for about 20 min. The car was parked in the garage. after this the oil started to break loose and came out in clogs. I then put in new oil and oil filter. The lifters are loud and I am not sure if the oil is being pumped through. Is there anything else I could try? Any Help would be appreicated.

With your antifreeze gone and thick oil my guess is that the two have mixed due to a leaking intake gasket. As a desperate measure you can try some form of engine cleaner. From your description, you may have to eventually replace the motor being that its probably gotten to the point of no return.
