fuel pump/ oil pressure switch

Can anyone tell me where the Fuel pump/ Oil pressure switch would be on a 97 silverado 5.7.

either way back on the top of the engine by the distributer way way in the back or down by the oil filter but If I remember correct its on the the back top of the engine

The Fuel Pressure Switch-- is this the same as the Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Also, if anyone knows...

Just installed new fuel pump and filter, turn key to on... fuel pump kicks the pressure to 62psi-- all looks good. A second or two later (and then when the car is running) the pressure drops to 52psi. Not good.

Wondering if this is the fuel pressure regulator "releasing" the pressure at 52psi instead of holding at north of 60psi?
