remote entry not working

I have a 1998 civic EX and the remote entry does not work , and alarm does not function either these are factory items ,tried new batteries , tried reprogramming , replaced fuze ,nothing works , every thing else on car works great , any ideas ?

check the power leads to your alarm system, also check all ground points from alarm box.. does it do anything when you click the remote? sorry not to familiar with honda's factory security systems..
