starter wiring 97 cavvy?

my friend helped my replace my tranny and i never got to see the wiring on my starter, and with the way its hooked up now, the starter stays engaged after turning the key... even with the key removed after starting... any help would be appreciated thanks

the battery wire on the starter and the switch wire are probably touching together.sometimes when you tighten them up,if yur not careful you can twist the whole wire and make them touch together,and that will cause that...& not to scare you but i have also seen that catch fire,so i would get it fixed,and unhook yur battery when parked
