it wont stay running

i just bought a 92 talon (2.0 manual no turbo) and i was coming back from the store and it stalled. I got a push from a neighbor and he said it may be the coils but when i tryed to start it the next day it fired right up and ran for like 5 min. and stalled. I let it sit for a few min and it started again we let it run reved the engine and it was fine so we decided to drive it. It drove perfect he even made a comment on how fast it was but on the way back it started to stall and was hard to start again. and now sometimes it starts and sometimes it won't. can anybody help please?

sounds like it can be something with your ECU but that wouldnt make sense b/c ive never heard of the ECU changing itself that often...it could be that your fuel pump needs to be replaced
