87 ignition or coil problem

I have an 87 Fiero. Solid state ignition with what I believe are two coils (two plug wires come from each). One is dead (cly 2 & 3). I replaced it but still no spark to these two plugs. New plugs and plug wires, so it's not that. Any thoughts? Thanks

Ignition Module. Follow-up question. Where's that? I know, I know, get a book - it's on order. The two coil system is new to me. Until I receive my book, I'm not even certain that it's a coil. But there's no distributor on this engine (87 4 cly).

They're called coil packs, and are very similar to coils, with one exception, each coil pack fires 2 cylinders, while a coil simply fires everything and the distributor handles what spark goes where when. The ignition module is the electronic thingamajig the coil packs mount on top of, and where the ECM to ignition wiring harness harness plugs in. I agree this is probably what's bad.
