is it better to get a used tranny from a wrecking yard with 70k on it for less money or have my current tranny rebuilt which currently has 115k on it. the problem with my tranny now is something is falling appart in my torque converter with is clogging my filter and shooting metal through my tranny.
dont know what to do now.... need some oponions!!

is there anyone else out there with a 95 blazer with or had tranny issues???

I would have to say to rebuild your tranny. Unless you are going to get rid of your vehicle sometime soon. You can get a rebuild video and a rebuild kit for less than 200 dollars I think. That is the price for my 700R4 Transmission.

Nope, I would go with the junkyard tranny.

If the torque convertor is allowing shards of metal through the the transmission, I would not trust anyone getting it all out.

Plus the damage would be system wide.
