In need of some good help!!!

Hey guys. I'm new here and wondering if you guys could help me out? When my car is idleing it will just die. It's like if you would just turn the key off, but it starts back up fine. Everyonce in awhile though, it will crank a little bit longer befor it starts but not much longer. When i'm driving it'sl like you just shut the key off and turn it back on real quick, but the headlights and radio stays on so it's not a loose connetion with the battery. Plus, there is no check engine light that comes on, but the check light does work though.
It was sitting for over a year though, because I was deployed over seas. The car runs good other then this little problem though. It's a non-turbo, 95 2.0. Hopefully someone can give me some insight, because it's drivin me :screwy: Thanks in advance guys!!!!

welcome. try resetting your ecu. disconnect your battery for about 3 mins. check your plugs and wires. make sure their gapped to spec. let me know.

Hey Scottsee. Well, I think the problem might have been the ecu it's self. After I messed around with it, the car hasen't died since. Knock on wood!!
The Plug wires and gaps were all good so it wasn't that, and the coil checked out good to, so i'm thinkin that was my problem. Thanks for the help!
