Heated Mirrors discolored

Hey Everyone,
New to the Denali scene. Just bought a '99 yesterday, and love it. I do have a question though. One of the only things wrong that I can find is that my outside heated mirrors are discolored almost to a golden looking color. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this normal? By the way great sight. Already on my favorites.

I had to replace my mirrors when they did this. The self tint feature took a crap and left mine blurry and discolored. Good luck.

Yes I have this same problem with the driver's side mirror. It has just started to change to a golden color like you mentioned. As to whehter it's normal or not I don't know. I'm just guessing the discoloration has something to do with the heating element in the mirror. My wife kinda likes the golden color so I haven't done anything about it yet.

the coloration to gold is the electrically activated self dimming feature.
Does you inside mirror dim OK?
