Favorite one-topping on a pizza

Mine I would have to say is: MUSHROOMS

I just love mushrooms on a pizza pie. I can eat one whole one myself with mushrooms. UGH! SO DAMN GOOD!

Was inspired by the presence of a mushroom pizza right next to me.. :icon16:

Pepperoni. Unoriginal, but definitely the one for me.

Chicken. But with just regular pizza sauce. Fruit spreads belong on crackers and sandwiches, not pizza. :p

You guys are missing out! If you ever have a chance to try it, DO IT!

I dont get one topping pizzas usually, but if i do i make sure it's at a kick ass pizza joint like Papa Del's on campus where they make Chicago style stuffed crust pizza..*drool* And i get sausage... Their sausage pieces are like the size of my thumb..

:1: exact same here, got to have meat like italian sausage or bacon. Bacon one topping pizza absolutely rules. I hate mushrooms, whenever it comes with one on a supreme pizza I pick them out, I can't stand the taste of mushrooms and the fact that it comes from fungus

Sure they do. Go to NY or Chicago.

My favorite toppings are: Pepporoni and fresh garlic. If its gotta be one or the other I'd say pepporoni wins.

Either pineapple or bacon.

As for the sauce.. barbeque pizza is the way to go :thumbsup:

I've had a duck 'nd plum sauce pizza once, at an Asian fusion place. It wasn't bad, I actually kinda liked it, since, err......I am Chinese and happen to love Peking duck.....mm so good. It's like peking duck except without the white buns and with pizza dough.

I prefer just plain ordaniry motezeralla pizza. But I have had Shrimp Scampi pizza that was good. And yes you an get wacked up pizzas in north america. Try California Pizza Kitchen (there some in newengland).

As for me, I like all toppings. But if I had to choose one, it'll be pepperoni.

wow, every where I go there's like a ranch dressing craze. Like, I've heard of people that like ranch on fries, ranch on pizza, ranch on burgers, ranch on baked potatoes, ranch with shrimp cocktail :eek7: , ranch with buffalo wings (instead of bleu cheese), and some others....but ranch on pizza isn't bad. It's what they put in the middle at Dominoes for their double stacked pizza or w/e it is.

ranch tastes good on certain fries, pizza crusta, burgers too, sandwiches, and great on buffalo wings

For me, the sauce and the dough have to be made correctly. I work at a pizza place and those are my pet peeves.

Shut up with the ranch.lol Everyone and there mom wants a side of ranch.

As for a topping, either mushroom or pepperoni. Although, sometimes you just can't beat a well made cheeze pizza.

Black Olives. PREFERABLY with chicken, but if I can only have one topping, it'd be the olives. And I think all that stuffed crust crap is :screwy: It's like cheese overload, to the point where I can't taste the rest of the pizza... or shake the feeling that I've just consumed a near-lethal dose of saturated fat. The standard cheese-dose pizza is unhealthy enough for me (especially Pizza Hut *starts drooling*)

Man, now I could really go for a pan pizza...

For some strrange reason, there's someting about ranch dressing I don't like about it. Unless it Hidden Valley Ranch, I won't use ranch dressing. Hopefully it didn't have something to do with eating ranch dressing that was two years past teh expiration date (that I didn't know about until later)...

has anyone tried pizza with sliced tomato pieces on top? like sliced tomatoes you would put in a hamburger. its pretty good. i like it with some meat on it to, like italian sausage or pepperoni.

i cant stand anything like pineapple, tomatos or stuff of that nature on a pizza...ick

well the tomato is cooked with the pizza, not just put on top of after its cooked. i made it sound like you put it on top raw.

More on the pizza, I truly despise the philly cheesesteak pizza from Dominos. Tried it once, never again.
