Enzo Ferrari Concept - Progress

I been thinking where should I post this thread? street or race? Well, since this is only a concept and was never happen as a race car, so I think it is alright to post here.
I had been gather materials like detail and wire for this enzo. And I start to build it last month (Nov 2004), the hardest to do must be laying carbon fiber. Here are some progress work I've been doing lately. ^_^"
The bodykit had been slightly mod. Wheels are from the Fujimi Toptip F40. This pictures, you can see front side fender hole had been cut and replace by Tamiya plastic beam and will be putty and sand to shape. As for the window is still original, it will be cut to look like the drawing of the Enzo concept.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/To%20AF/AF-enzo1.jpg
Here I prime and sprayed Gunze #79 shine red. The window was also been cut. It really looks good to me... ^_^/
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/To%20AF/AF-enzo2.jpg
Engine had been spray and wiring with some good reference from 'Tipo Ferrari' and 'Rosso' magazine. The fold that wrap on the exhaust was ST27 chrome foil. And also some carbon fiber had been put on some parts too and I also used Model factory Hiro 0.4mm wire.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/To%20AF/AF-enzo4.jpg
Enjoy ^_^' and comment are welcome.
I will keep all update soon.

robrex, ImolaEK, Hiroboy... I wish to, but photobucket do not allow me to upload that much :uhoh: as I'm a free hosting user  and I do need some space for my next LeMans contest. If anyone can give me a few more few hosting site, then I may post bigger picts. :p
ImolaEK... Yes, it's the same Enzo you saw in my signature  I can't do models like the rest of the members here (post and progess at the same time). I might not unable to finish it or rushing it, so I choose to take my time to finish and post it up. Currently I'm almost done, left only the wheel offset have to be done and some minor parts to be finish.
I have some more pictures here.
Engine had been detail like the real pict, and I do lack of different size of wire to do the good job. It is a good mistake to learn as my next road Enzo will not have this problem anymore.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v73/Rtuned/To%20AF/AF-enzo5.jpg
Body was decal. I used diecast 1/18 scale decal that given by my friend. After putting the "donut" on the door, then found out it way to big :eek7: but I find it looks good. Window had masked off for clear coat.

MAN~
you are getting it done soon!!!
are you using the approach to paint off the window frame before the clear coat?
i find this approach may save a lot effort for the masking after the clear coats. but i am just not so sure if the mask creat a leveling problem up and down in-between the window frame and the rest of the body...(don't know ifyou can understand my poor english

Actually I don't always do that. It's my mistake to paint and glue the window on the door...then I fond out that I've not put on the decal yet :eek7: . If I take out the window and it might have stained on it, so what I do is mask it and spray the coat. But lucky it doesn't show much level on the paint... :iceslolan

Hey David, since you dont like posting progress as it happens. With your other projects, can you take a lot of pics during the progress. Im very intrested in the work that goes into those. I also pick up tips from looking at progress.
The Enzo looks amazing, it'd be cool to see it run in JGTC,

You mean the sanding and filing picts? I got alot, but here I selected to post. But if you want it, I might share with you on email. How many "Mb" does your email contain? :evillol: I don't have much space to upload my pict here and I still want to post my Kosei Celica, Autobacs MR-S and Cusco STi GT300... well, some of the old picts had to go.
Tomorrow will start build the GT wing, and will show more picts on body fixing up. Hmm...feel like doing a pitstop. Anyone? Give me a help, how many crew (including offical, team manager, etc) are there in 1 LeMans FIA-GT pit? It might help alot.
Thanks

I like the decals, they don't look THAT oversized. Look quite good actually. I had some F1 decals for Ferrari and put them up for classifieds a while ago but nobody wanted them, tried giving them out for free but didn't find anyone. Too bad i threw them out, i would've donated them to you. :disappoin

Oh! I find that the white version is much harder to build as the slot on the front hood rather than the black version...so I choice build the harder version then the black later.
And thanks for the rest.
