open for suggestions duster

My friend just bought a 71 slant six duster for cheep. yes, i know not the greatest power maker. but we are just looking to make a good cruser out of it. i own and race miatas with scca so i do not know allot about the heavy car big motor years. the rims are bent and the tires dont hold air, so this what we need to fix first to get it on the road. we are looking for a good 15x8 or something around their. any suggestions?
