Interminttent Starting Problems

OK I have a 2000 Grand CaraVan SE with intermittent starting problems. Originally I thought it was the battery so the battery was changed but that was a NOGO. When I try to start it, it just clicks. It takes a few(sometimes more) minutes to get it started. Once it starts it is fine. It normally happens late night / morning when it is cooler. I live in Mississippi so its not like it is cold. Mid 50's.
Could it be the starter relay, starter or what?
ANY help would be great!

I would think you have a failing starter. It may have a "flat spot" where the starter may not work in a certain position. had that on my truch where from time to time I had to crawl underneat and tap it with a hammer, only as a last resort though. I've been told that doing so will wreck it. Besides I think it'd be pretty hard to do so under a van. good luck
