please help

im getting a 240sx i wanted to know what year fastback i should get?
what year would be the best? i also would like to know what kind of jdm motor i could swap if i wanted to....well thanx and hope to get some replies....

240sx came in a fastback from 89-93. 89-90 had the ka24e which was a single cam motor pushing 140hp. the 91-93 had the ka24de which came with 155hp? and was dual overhead cam instead of the single.

-you can swap in any RB engine with the right amount of fabrication but i think the RB20DET is your best bet.

-sr20det is a very popular engine, almost too popular and it swaps in directly.
