Please Help!

I bought a 89' probe..... it ran great for a year and now its not. About 3 weeks ago my check engin light went on and about a week after that it started to die at ramdom times not when ever I put the car in Nutral or if i let the RPM's drop too low them the car dies..... I have no clue what is wronge with it and I cant get a reading off the computer.... pleae help

sounds like something in the fuel aspect of the car I would say replace the fuel filter and if that doesnt fix it check the fuel pump.
