Hi, I need to remove the right-side mirror on my '98 Neon. Any tips on the best way to do this?? Thanks!

In order...
*You will have to remove the door trim panel
*Unsnap and just partially remove the inner cover
*With an allen wrench get behind the inner cover and remove the adj. cable assembly
*If electric remove the connector and watershield
*Remove the nut and remove the mirror

Pretty much what fractured said above.
- Roll window all the way down (this will help in holding the side mirror while you remove it).
- You need to remove the door panel first (how-to on this HERE (http://www.neonspeed.com/howto/howto_1stgen_doortrim.htm)).
- Then pop the plastic interior mirror cover piece off, it just pulls off.
- Remove the 3 nuts that are behind that cover piece. This is all that holds the side mirror to the car, have a hold of the mirror before removing these nuts.
- As mentioned above, have a hold of the mirror and keep it close to the car. Slowly separate the mirror from the side of the car just enough to disconnect the mirror adjustment knob (on driver's-side mirror only) and disconnect the electrical connections if you have power mirrors.
That's it. Hope it helps... L8R,
