i know this is probably the worst question to ever ask in this forum and ill probably get chewed out for it... but... i want your opinions. bodykit? (maybe) lowering an inch or two (yes) 17s (yes) darker tint (let me know) and some basic engine work. intakes, injectors, sparks, wires, headers? what? heres a pic of my car now.

Well, it's your car so do what you want. Whatever you do though, do it right and don't hack stuff toghter, mismatch colors, etc. Try to choose colors that flow with each other.
If you like 17's go with them. Some people hate 17's on a civic, but I feeel 17's are fine. Now 18's on a civic tend to look too big, especially with stock brakes. The gap inside the wheel on 18's is huge without big brakes. 17's I know people hate on 17's, but it's a personal preference. 17's will look fine.
As for a drop, definatly lower it. 2" should be sufficent, you really shouldn't need more. You'll want new shocks, springs/coils and a front and rear camber kit. Koni yellows are very good shocks, and have a lifetime warrenty to the original purchaser. Ground Control uses linear rate springs and offers custom spring rates on their sleeve type coilovers, and also offer a lifetime warrenty to the orginal purchaser. Skunk2 also uses linear rate springs. They have stiffer rates out of hte box, but as I said GC's can have custom rates, so you can order stiffer springs ground controls if you want stiffer rates. Skunk2's use a 450lbs/inch rate in front-350 rear on 92-00 civics and 550f-450rear on tegs. I myself have custom rate GC's on koni yellows. I found the 550/450 rates more to my liking so I had them do those rates, but it's a perference thing.
The other route is to go with a tuned step-up like Tein coilovers that includes the shocks and springs. You'll still need a front and rear camber kit though.
As for a body kit. Again, this is a perfernce thing in all honesty. Some people hate it, some like them. IMO, if you get a kit choose something that looks clean and flows and not something outragous.
For tint, I found that tint helps keep the car cooler in the summer. I went with legel tint, which is 35%. If you want darker and don't care about legality, IMO don't go darker than 20%. 20% is dark enough to keep people from seeing in for the most part but not so dark you'll have trouble seeing @ night.

yea thanks for all your help. that really narrows a lot a brands and ideas for me. i dont think im gunna go with the body kit just cuz if i lower it... im gunna hit the ground, i dont have the money to paint it either. plus with the stock lips it will still look really good lowered.
the reason i asked about the tint was because im afraid its not enough tint.. i live in michigan and it can get hot here but not really enough to do damage like for example... arizona... southern cali.

just drop the civic. almost all imports look hella clean lowered. get some 16's. smoother ride and better for track.
