to reset the codes in it. such as when you change you O2

Yeah, after any codes that you've fixed or any tune-up done to the car, it's always wise to reset the ecu cause then the car runs on factory stats till it can adjust to whatever you've done and runs better.

WELL i just did a zc swap were i had to change the ecu and fuel system..I also have a header-intake and 2'25 cat-back. and its not that fast to me...
I have a pr4 89 interga ecu and my car.. Whats the best one to use for a auto.???

you simply disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset it, right?

or,
take the hazard fuse out,under the hood,in the fuse box,
for 10 sec.
take the hazard fuse out,under the hood,in the fuse box,
for 10 sec.
