well the top speed can be reset with a hyperteck power programer, i dont like chips, like you said they adjust your timing, and with nos your right you dont want that, you could blow it to hell and back with an early combustion, so ide look into reprogramming the top speed and go from there

I know that NOS makes a kit for just about everything, we bolted on 50hp to my 626.

Also you might want to invest in a rev limiter that and a better radiator, Be-Cool makes really good ones thats whats on my mazda.

well your right, just about every thing, most imports for sure, on our trucks though i have yet to find a spicific kit, you have to buy the "universal" kit and it sounds like you know how to hook this stuff up, and if you dont there will be general directions, the only kits ive seen used so far are kits for honda civics, but chevy s 10's aint so lucky, you have to cut and piece it together, take your time it will work fine, me and my cousin hooked up a uni in about 4 hours (by we i mean he did it because it was his truck and i didnt want to mess anything up, but it seams like its not difficult) but remember our trucks still arent 8's so dont think they can handle a 150 shot stock (they might but i wouldnt risk that much personally)
