ABS not working, but light not on

I'm new here and glad i found this board, what a wealth of information.

I have a 1997 grand am 3.1L, the problem is i tried to use the ABS brakes but they dont come on, but the light comes on as normal when i start the car for a few seconds, then i checked the fuses under the hood, and the little tiny fuse labels ABS/EVO wasnt there, i thought mabey it was because of that, i put a 20 fuse in there and they still dont work.

Ant help would be greatly appreciated...we had our first snowfall here in montreal last night......

It is most likely a problem with one or more of the speed sensors.
