I was needing to know if a 93 dx motor would bolt right into a 93 cx? WOuld the tranny bolt up and what all would i actually need to swap since neither is vtec? Also, would the dx motor hold up if it was sprayed or turboed? Thanks in advance

Yea everything will work fine as for the motor bolting up. It will just end up being like a DX hatch. The tranny will bolt up but i wouldnt recommend using it unless you only wanna beat school buses like sparq said. The motor will be allright for a 55 shot of NOS or a small turbo but you will want to build up the motor a little bit . Oh and also make sure you get the DX ECU.

Yeah, it may be an upgrade...but I think you are wasting your time and money. For about the same cost you could get a much better engine/trans. for your CX. Regardless, if you are getting a good price on the engine...you would be much better off (in the long run) to either save and get what you want or put it on plastic.

the cx has a one wire o2 sensor and i think the dx has a 4 wire but anyways buy a b series motor.

the swap will be flawless.
the tranny will be a dog, because it has really long gears, so dont expect racing w/ it, but its great for long distance trips.
I would suggest maybe gettin a EX engine which will bolt right in too and you can pick one up relativly cheap about 500 or so.
